Over the past several months, global commodity markets have seen a significant rise in the prices of key industrial metals — especially aluminum and copper, two of the most important raw materials used in pump manufacturing.
At the same time, international currency markets have also shifted, with the US dollar weakening against the Chinese yuan (RMB). Together, these two trends are creating increasing cost pressure across the pump manufacturing industry.

In the last 12 months, international prices of aluminum and copper on the London Metal Exchange (LME) have risen significantly, driven by:
◆ Growing demand from renewable energy, electric vehicles, and infrastructure projects
◆ Supply constraints and tighter global inventories
◆ Higher energy and smelting costs
At the same time, the US dollar has weakened against the Chinese yuan. Since most pump exports are priced in USD while production costs are paid in RMB, this currency movement means manufacturers now receive less RMB for the same USD sales price, further increasing cost pressure.
Although we continue to control costs wherever possible, future price adjustments may become unavoidable if these trends continue.
